Joe was a Principal at RCG Architects for 18 years before the firm joined JMT Architecture. As the Higher Education Studio Leader, he brings his experience in leading deans, faculty, and staff through conceptual planning. Joe’s leadership, careful attention to detail, and inclusive design process often results in award-winning projects recognized for design and sustainability. He leads collaborative teams that strive to balance a client’s program, vision, and budget.

With expertise in both higher education and cultural projects, Joe creates iconic facilities that fulfill complex, program-driven needs. He has worked on colleges and universities from coast to coast and has created compelling designs for recognizable clients such as The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.
